Boating Course

 

 

      If you are interested in an exciting, in-depth boating safety course, check out the 8 hour in classroom (seminar) version of our popular boating course. This beginner boating class will give you the knowledge needed to obtain a boat license or safety certification in many states. Many boat insurance companies will offer discounts on boating insurance to boaters who successfully complete this course. This course covers many topics.

 

Topics Include:

· Introduction to Boating

· Boating Law

· Boating Safety Equipment

· Safe Boating

· Navigation

· Boating Problems

· Trailering, Storing and Protecting your Boat

· Hunting and Fishing while boating

· Water-skiing and River Boating

 

Course Time:

      Class starts at 9:00 am and concludes approximately 4:30 pm after a certification test.   

 

Course Fee:

      Course Fee per person is $55.00 (includes dine-in lunch, soft-drink w/dessert) payments made at the door by cash, check or U.S. Postal money orders made payable to: USCG Auxiliary 05-07-11.
